Scarlett is FIVE months old!

At five months, Scarlett:
*weighs 14 pounds 6.5 ounces (40th %ile)
*is 26 inches long (80th %ile)
*is doing MUCH better sleeping at night.  I posted about it here but she basically wakes 2-3 times a night and only nurses 2 of those times.  She eats anywhere from 1-3 AM and again at 5 AM and takes a bottle of formula from Daddy at one feeding and nurses for the other
*sleeps in her crib for naps and at night.  We are about to put the pack-n-play away.  :o(

*no longer swaddled!  One night Jason put her to bed without it when I was away and we haven't noticed any change so I think we will put the swaddle away, too!

*takes 3-4 naps a day.  She goes down easily (no pacifier but I do turn on her sounds/lights soother) and always sleeps 40 minutes.  Most of the time I can go back in and extend her naps by giving her the paci but sometimes she is up and ready to go
*isn't interested in rolling much and she can sit with help

*nurses every 3.5 hours
*had her first solids: rice in a bottle on Feb 20 and then in a bowl on Feb 25

She had sweet potatoes on March 3, pears on March 10, and carrots today.  She has done great with all of them!  She pushes it out a little bit but also opens her mouth to take big bites and seems to enjoy it.  We wait a week for each food to check for reactions.
*only has about 1-2 dirty diapers a week and they seem a bit thick.  I have experimented with some dairy and it always makes her go, even though last month I thought it was constipating her (must have been due to introducing formula).  It looks fairly normal so I think I will keep having some about once a week.
*has eczema that seems to be a bit better, we are using lotion a couple times a day to help
*eyes are still light blue, hair is dark blonde

*wears size 2 diapers, 3-6 and 6-12 month clothes
*played in her jumparoo (ehh) but Lilli loved it!
*has figured out how to blow raspberries and sometimes mimics us when we do it
*is such a happy girl. She goes with the flow and is easy to take places.  We really are blessed!
